Use Of Hatake In Cacaofarming:

Hatake Microbial Inoculant is used in 3 particular areas,namely:
- Planting Medium,
- Planting Material
- Crop Drenching

Use Of Hatake In Compost Or Soil Medium:

Cacao Seeds Are Sensitive To Fungal Attacks And Could Lead To Non-germination. It Is Best To Soak The Cleaned Cacao Seeds To Strong Hatake Solution At 2tbs/ 10-16 Liters Of Water For 1 Hour To 2 Hours. Spread The Seeds On Wet Sacks And Cover With Wet Newspaper Sprayed With Hatake Solution 2tbs/20 Liters Of Water For 24 Hrs (Or Could Also Use The Hatake Solution Used Previously In Soaking The Seeds).

Use Of Hatake In Compost Or Soil Medium

Spray Hatake- Microbial Inoculant To Compost Before Using It In Potting Young Cacao Plants At The Rate Of 1 Pack Of Hatake /100 Liter Of Non-chlorinated Water Per 5 Tons Of Compost Or Soil Medium

Inoculation Of Planting Material

To reduce the seedling shock during transplanting, it is necessary to rotate the polybag to a few degrees one week before field planting. It is done for the seedlings whose leaves have hardened and especially for those which roots have penetrated the ground. Apply Water mixed with Hatake powder at 2tbs/16 liters to seedling two days later. Field planting must be started at the onset of the rainy season. Unless irrigation is available, field planting during the dry season is not advisable. Spray Hatake solution to the soil evenly completely drenching the soil at the rate of 2tbs/16-20 liters of water before planting.

Preventing Diseases By Crop Drenching

If diseases may occur such us Vascular Streak Dieback, Black Pod Rot and Canker spray immediately with strong Hatake solution at 2tbs per 10liters of water interval of 5 days
